What you can do

  • Climb, hang, stretch and swing like indoor monkey bars using the rungs
  • Create a small-space indoor jungle gym that grows with your tamariki
  • Attach resistance bands, TRX straps, or yoga straps for adults to enjoy strength, balance, and flexibility workouts

Installation
Wall-mounted to studs/nogs for a secure, space-smart footprint. If you’re not confident with DIY, we recommend professional installation. If you’re within ~1.5 hours of Hamilton, contact us to organise Topsy Turvy installation.

Swedish Ladder Benefits

Proven heritage: Also known as stall bars, Swedish ladders originated in early 19th-century Sweden as part of the Swedish gymnastics system developed by Pehr Henrik Ling. Widely used across Europe, they’re valued for versatile strength and mobility work.

Motor-skill development: Encourages mobility, coordination, balance, and strength through climbing, hanging and controlled movement.

Confidence & cognition: Climbing offers new perspectives and problem-solving, building confidence and body awareness while supporting healthy risk assessment.

Active play > screen time: A compelling, at-home alternative that helps reduce screen time by making active movement fun and accessible.

Family fitness: Robust enough for parents to join in with stretching and body-weight exercises, modelling positive movement habits.
